REJOICE!
Notes on Travel & Accomodations
Nestled in the Mountainous heart of central Idaho,
the towns of Sun Valley, Ketchum, Hailey, and Bellevue
are what make up The Wood River Valley.

Consider this your area of destination for our wedding.

Flying In

The Friedman Memorial Airport, (deceptively referred to as the Sun Valley Airport, as it is technically located in Hailey) is the best option for travel in terms of proximity to the wedding location.
Depending on the time of booking, however, tickets can be significantly more expensive than in neighboring airports, and the rental cars availability much more limited.

The Boise International Airport is a much greater distance from Hailey, being about a two-and-a-half hour drive. However, ticket prices are generally much less expensive than flying into Hailey. This combined with the greater availability of less expensive rental cars often means that flying into Boise is the most cost-effective method of traveling to the Wood River Valley.

Also known as the Magic Valley Regional Airport, this little regional airport is located about an hour away from Hailey. We've listed this third on the list because it doesn't possess the same conveniences as the other two. Nonetheless, it can still be an option if it somehow shows up as a good budget option or if rental cars elsewhere are booked.
Sleeping Inns
Sun Valley is a resort town. Consequently, the rest of the Wood River Valley has been developed in anticipation of large fluxes of tourists. Luckily, that means that there are plenty of options for hotels, and plenty of AirBnbs.
Below are some recommendations to help your search. The map we listed should also reflect the options we're linking to below.
